How Xainu collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information.

This policy explains what Xainu ("Xainu", "we", "us") does with your personal information when you browse this website, place an order, or create an account. Xainu is the controller of that information.

By using this website you accept the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Questions can go to hello@xainu.com at any time.

1.Information you give us

Most of what we hold is information you type in yourself:

Your name, email address, and mobile number.
The delivery address you enter at checkout, and any billing address if it differs.
Your account password, which is stored only as a cryptographic hash and is never readable by us.
The contents of your cart and your order history.
Anything you write to us by email about an order, a return, or a question.

2.Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site, some technical information is recorded so it can work and stay secure:

Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.
Which pages you viewed, when, and which page referred you.
Cookies and similar identifiers, described in section 5.

3.Information we do not collect

We do not store card or bank details. Orders on this site are paid cash on delivery, so no payment card is entered here at any point.

We do not ask for your CNIC or any other national identity number, and you should not send one to us.

We do not knowingly collect information from children. See section 11.

4.Why we use your information

We use personal information only for the purposes below, and only for as long as that purpose lasts:

To take, pack, and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
To let you sign in, and to keep your cart and order history available.
To handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and complaints.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and repeated refusal of cash-on-delivery orders.
To meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
To improve the shop, using aggregated figures that do not identify you.

5.Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them for two things:

Strictly necessary: keeping you signed in, and remembering your cart between visits. The shop cannot work without these.
Preferences: remembering choices such as the section you were browsing.

6.Cookies you can turn off

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop sign-in and the cart from working, so you will not be able to place an order.

We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not sell the data they produce.

8.What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

9.How long we keep it

Order records: kept while needed for delivery, returns, warranty, tax, and accounting.
Account details: kept until you close the account or ask us to delete it.
Email correspondence: kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Technical logs: kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

10.How we protect it

Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to do their job. Passwords are stored hashed, traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, and administrative access requires its own login.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your information in a way that puts you at risk, we will tell you.

11.Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Children's clothing sold here is bought by adults on a child's behalf, and the account details we hold are the adult's.

If you believe a child has given us information, write to hello@xainu.com and we will delete it.

12.Where your information is held

We operate from Pakistan. Some of the services we rely on, such as hosting and image delivery, store data on servers outside Pakistan. Where that happens we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for the data they hold on our behalf.

13.Your rights

You can ask us to:

Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
Delete your account and personal data, subject to records we must keep by law.
Stop using your information for a particular purpose.
Withdraw consent, where we relied on it, without affecting anything done beforehand.

14.How to exercise them

Email hello@xainu.com from the address on your account. We will confirm it is you before acting, and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. You can change your name, phone number, and addresses yourself at any time from your account.

15.Other sites

This site may link to pages we do not run. We are not responsible for what those sites do with your information, and their own policies apply once you leave here.

16.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the shop changes. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised, and the version published here is the one that applies.

Write to hello@xainu.com with anything about this policy or about how your information has been handled. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may raise it with the relevant data protection or consumer authority in Pakistan.
